

GNM
The General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course is a diploma program designed to train students in the fundamentals of nursing and midwifery.
Duration:
GNM Course – 3 Years. The medium of instruction is English.
Eligibility:
- Candidates must be female, unmarried, and between 17 to 35 years of age by December 31st.
- Must be physically and mentally fit with a minimum qualification of 10+2 (preferably in science) and 40% marks, with English as a compulsory subject.
- ANM training i.e. 10+1.5 years training should also have passed +2 or is equivalent examination.
Mode of Application
- Application forms and prospectus are available from the School of Nursing, St. Joseph's Hospital, Gumla, for Rs. 300.
- Submit the completed form with required documents, two mobile numbers (one with WhatsApp), and an email ID before the deadline.
Interview and Selection Process
- Candidates will take a one-hour entrance exam.
- Those who perform well in the exam will be interviewed.
- Selection is based on qualifying exam, written test, and interview performance.
- Preference is given to candidates from Jharkhand and Christian minorities.
- Selected candidates must pass a medical check-up at their own expense to be admitted.
